Saddam is gone. There weren't any weapons of mass destruction. The 9/11 attackers were Saudis. The "freedom loving people who love freedom because they love democracy " who we were ostensibly freeing from Saddam are focused upon killing us while they kill each other. Wake up folks! These troops aren't protecting US from anything. They're the victims of a civil war that WE started and may never be able to stop. THEY ALSO ENLISTED. When you enlist in the military you aren't volunteering to teach Sunday school. Could we have a little reality check here? My younger brother served in the Australian Navy during the first pass of this conflict in the early 90's. I see the sacrifice he made continues to effect his life even to this day. The scars of war are a heavy burden for everyone to wear and they only diminish over a very long period of time. The love and support for our brave members of the armed forces needs to be present and vocal for decades to come. Thanks for sharing this.

This is very inspiring. I have several friends from church who have rotated in and out of Iraq and Pakistan. It is always amazing to me to see how strong and giving their families.
